Chemistry - Minor

Required Courses for Chemistry Minor

Students are required to complete 19 credits for the Chemistry minor, including the following required courses:

• SCI 110 - Introduction to the Science Majors Credits: 1
• CHM.Q 140 - General Chemistry: Molecules, Matter And Mayhem Credits: 3
• CHM.Q 140L - General Chemistry: Molecules, Matter and Mayhem Lab Credits: 1

Additional Chemistry Minor Requirements

Students choose 14 additional credits of chemistry and the associated laboratory; seven credits must be at the 300-400 level. CLS 301 and CLS 305 also accepted courses. A minimum of 8 credits applied toward the minor must be distinct (not counted toward another major/minor).
