ENGW 387 - Screenwriting

Through discussion of student writing and study of assigned screenplays, films and textbook readings, this course will cover the most important aspects of the art and craft of writing for the screen. Topics covered will include techniques for generating ideas, the drafting process, screenplay structure, conflict, characterization, dialogue, and how to write visually. Course Codes: BR.
