SPN 319G - Contemporary Narratives of the Spanish- Speaking World This is a survey course that analyzes the narratives produced by some of the most important contemporary writers of Latin America, and Spain while introducing students to theoretical debates about these narratives. The emphasis will be on analyzing short stories and essays, including some poetry and playwrights. This course pays special attention to the ongoing dialogue and influence among writers of different nationalities.
