ENGL.Q 135 - Audio Story Telling and New Nonfiction

(PEQ English/Literature) This course introduces students to podcasts as narrative, offering students a chance to break down the literary, stylistic, rhetorical and soundscape elements of this important new form. We will listen and respond to audio storytelling from a diverse range of genres and formats, applying select theoretical concepts from the fields of podcast and sound studies, transmedia studies, and literary and cultural theory.
