PSC 342 - U.S. Social Policy in Comparative Perspective This course examines various areas of U.S. social policy and compares them with policies of other advanced capitalist democracies. The course focuses on several related questions. Why do similar countries adopt different solutions to the same social problems? Are we witnessing convergence or divergence in the way different nations structure their social policies?
