ACS 101 - Academic and College Success A student’s first semester of college is a unique opportunity for personal growth and discovery. In ACS 101 students will develop a vision of success in college and beyond by exploring their identity, approaches to learning and what motivates them. To help them achieve success, they will learn about concepts and strategies such as growth mindset, goal setting, time management, and interpersonal skills. ACS 101 will challenge students to discover the value in community involvement and diverse global perspectives. Through this process, students will develop their capacity for growth and acquire skills to help them successfully navigate this important transition time in their lives. Chair Approval Required.
