SWK 605 - Cultural Humility and Social Work Practice This course prepares students to engage in clinical practice with a diversity of client populations utilizing a cultural humility framework aimed at helping students develop self-awareness and understanding of sociocultural factors that create inequities. Social work theory, knowledge, and practice skills are emphasized to guide assessment, intervention, and evaluation within a cultural humility framework. Both cognitive and affective processes are stressed throughout the course.
