SWK 598 - Contemporary Issues in Interprofessional Team Practice The purpose of this course is to provide graduate students in various health and education programs with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to be effective as inter-professional team members. Students are introduced to core values and competencies derived from multiple professions, which prepares them for collaborative practice in diverse settings. This course covers research and theories that guide effective team development and interactive problem solving. This is a HYBRID section, with some in-class meetings and the remainder of the course on-line. Students are expected to participate from the first day of classes. The hybrid section is best suited to students who are self-directed and very familiar with Moodle and other computer technology.
