SWK 533 - Critical Thinking in Social Work This course focuses on essential skills in critically reflective thinking characterized by skillful conceptualization, analysis, synthesis, evaluation and application of information. These skills are practiced through exposure to and analysis of academic research literature and problem-solving strategies. The utilization of logic and reasoning toward the evaluation of various social work topics and problems while assessing potential solutions is emphasized. Students will apply critical thinking to various social work cases at all levels of social work practice. Open to students in MSW Program. Course also open tostudents in the Creative Arts Therapy graduate program.
