MTH 513 - Real Analysis for Teachers

An in-depth study of the real numbers and real-valued functions. In particular, we will examine the axioms for the real number system, limits, continuity, differentiation, integration, sequences and infinite series. Students will have a textbook, which will be supplemented by articles and additional chapters. Students will also have assignments that connect the content of the course to their professional role as teachers. Permission of instructor required.
