EDTS 523 - Introduction to Educational Technology

This is a course intended for all students regardless of their computer background. The importance of the infusion of technology into today’s classroom will be the focus of the course. Topics covered will include the use of smartboards, presentation tools, Internet research, web publishing, blogging, webquests, podcasting, and student response systems. All of these topics will address the ways in which technology can enhance the listening, writing, reading, and speaking skills of students.
