SWK 304 - Human Behavior and the Social Environment I


Focuses on understanding human behavior holistically and contextually. Critically explores a variety of theoretical perspectives for understanding persons in relation to their environment at all levels from the individual through the global. A celebration of human diversity and commitment to social justice, community - building and inclusivity undergird this course. Social Work majors must obtain a course grade of “C” or better to continue in this program.

Prerequisites & Notes
Prereq: PSY 101, SOC 101, SWK 222 (SWK 222 may be taken concurrently with SWK 304.)
