RES 324G - PII Chinese Religion Performance

(Perspectives II Global course) Explores the relationship between the elements of Chinese theatre and major types of Chinese religions and doctrines in both traditional and modern settings. Also investigates the range of infiltration of religion in subject matter, costuming, staging method, and performance venues of both traditional and modern Chinese theatre. Course Codes: R.
