BIO 216 - Plant Biology Plant Biology takes a broad and comprehensive look at the structure, function, and evolution of photosynthetic organisms from bacteria to the flowering plants. Throughout the course we investigate how the characteristics of these organisms can increase health and well-being, treat illnesses and disease, and address pressing social issues such as food and nutrition availability.
Prerequisites & Notes Course Codes: BR. Prereq: Any PEQ in science or equivalent completed with a grade of C- or higher within the past 5 years. Coreq: BIO 216L. Offering cycle: Every other fall semester (odd numbered years)
