SCI.Q 167 - Science of Sound (Perspectives Enduring Questions) Why does sound matter? Why can acoustical phenomena affect us so profoundly? How can we use the properties of sound to improve the quality of life? This course explores these questions by examining the physical and mathematical properties of sound as they relate to speech communication, architecture and music.
Prerequisites & Notes Course Codes: BR. Co-req: SCI.Q*168L (not required). Taking the lecture without the lab will not satisfy the PI requirement. This P(EQ) course counts as a PI, W, and G course. Normal Offering Cycle: Fall and Spring
