RES 304G - PII Anthropology of Religion in South Asia (Perspectives II Global course) An exploration of the major living religious traditions of South Asia - Buddhism, Hinduism and Islam. Drawing upon the disciplines of anthropology and religious studies, students will receive training in ethnographic fieldwork methods in order to study the religious beliefs and practices associated with these religions among communities of diasporic practitioners in the greater Rochester area.
