DAN 322 - Choreography I - Theories of Dance Composition An introduction to the art of choreography. Students will learn the tools, principles and theories of dance composition through solo works. Through assignments (crafting, reading, viewing, listening) students will expand their knowledge of composers, choreographers and choreographic methods. The class will gain experience in developing and editing their own work, and also in responding to art.
Prerequisites & Notes Course codes: ABGR. Prerequisites: DAN 310/310L or permission of instructor. Normal Offering Cycle: Spring
