AED 450 - Alternative Sites: Internship & Seminar

This course will provide preservice Art Education teachers a new understanding of ways in which they can practice as art educators. Students will teach art in a supervised community-based program prior to their Saturday Art for Children & Teen’s lab and formal Student Teaching fieldwork. Students may teach art in community outreach programs, museums, art centers, or senior centers. Students will reflect on their teaching and learning in a weekly seminar. Internship hours: 30.
