ENGL.Q 120 - The Ethical Life


(Perspectives Enduring Questions) This course aims to discover the nature of fable, its purpose and function in society, its development and influence in literary history, and its significance as a didactic, value laden literary genre. Fable will be explored in the context of answering, “What does it mean to be virtuous and its opposite?”

Course Codes: BR. This P(EQ) course counts as a PI, W, and G course. May also be offered as ENGL.F*120, which has the same course content but is taught as a seminar for First Year students.
