THA.Q 120 - Introduction to Theatre: Arts And Analysis


(Perspectives Enduring Questions) An exploration of culture as the foundation and experience of society. This course provides students with an ability to critically analyze the literature and performance of theatre as a cultural touchstone and mirror of the society in which it is created, as well as an overall appreciation of theatre as a distinct art form.

Prerequisites & Notes
Course Codes: ABR. Co-req: Theatre majors must also take THA.Q*120L. This P(EQ) course counts as a PI, W, and G course. May also be offered as THA.F*120, which has the same course content but is taught as a seminar for First Year students.
