RES 350G - PII Zen Meditation and Militarism: An Ethical Reflection

(Perspectives II Global course) An examination of two sides of Zen: mindful meditation and engagement with Nazism, nationalism and militarism, particularly Nankin Massacre in the 20th century. Critical reflection on the relationship between religion and violence.
