MTH 312 - Linear Algebra Linear algebra is both computational and theoretical in nature. Computations lead to solutions of problems involving systems of linear equations. Conceptually and theoretically, the abstract notion of vector spaces and their properties are explored and developed. Topics include vectors, matrices, independence, span, bases, dimension, rank, linear transformations, vector spaces, determinants, eigenvalues, eigenvectors, orthogonality, and change of basis, as time allows.
Prerequisites & Notes Course Codes: ABR. Prereq: MTH*201 with a grade of C or better. Normal Offering Cycle: Spring
