SOC 101 - PI Introduction to Sociology


(Perspectives I course) Are we really independent individuals determined by our genes? Or are human beings inherently social? What is society anyway? What is social inequality, and is it inevitable? Explore some beginning answers to these questions from a sociological perspective. Concepts, methods, and theories in sociology are introduced.
