RES 304 - PII Jesus Today: The Man, The Mystery, The Message

(Perspectives II course) The person, teachings and ministry of Jesus of Nazareth. Biblical, historical, and contemporary images and theological understandings of Jesus Christ in text and creed, prayer and worship, life and art. Special topics: the American Jesus, Jesus as culture hero and icon; images of Jesus in film; the views of Jesus in the world’s religion including Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism and Islam.
