PTR 512 - Neuroscience


This course is designed to provide the basic foundation of knowledge and facts necessary to pursue further study and practical application of the principles of neurology. The course consists of both lectures and laboratory experiences. Lectures will emphasize principles of neurophysiology, neurotransmitter classification, sensory and motor systems, development and aging. The digital laboratory component explores the neuroanatomy of the internal and external gross morphology of the brain and spinal cord. Prerequisite: Successful completion of all prior required PT courses.
