INCH 503 - Assessment for Planning in an Inclusive Education System The focus of this course is to examine and practice how assessment drives planning and instruction. In line with the Continuum of Services, a parallel continuum of assessment will be explored through the lenses of general education (CBM, AIS, RtI) and special education (IEPs). Students will become familiar with the requirements of state and federal regulations and the specific needs of children. Related issues of family involvement, due process, student discipline and assistive technology will also be addressed. 20 hours fieldwork required.
