CAT 550 - Case Management of Chemical/Substance Abuse Client

This course focuses on the significance of case

management and documentation of the substance

abuse client. Students will learn case management

principles and practices including service

coordinator, placement criteria, documentation,

treatment planning, teamwork, community referral,

ethical and legal considerations. In addition,

students will benefit from personal experience by

participating in an abstinence contract and 15

weeks of sobriety.
