NSG 519 - Technology in Nursing Education

This course offers learners an opportunity to acquire knowledge and skills related to informational technologies supporting the teaching-learning process in nursing education. The course will address principles of education related to the “smart” classroom, distance learning, synchronous and asynchronous internet-mediated modalites, and the effective integration of medial, multi-media and computer-based technologies into the nursing curriculum. Technology that supports student assessment and evaluation is also included.
