ENGW 340 - Fundamentals of Screenwriting

This course will serve as an introduction to the craft of screenwriting, focusing primarily on the narrative script for film and television. Students will learn to create effective premises to engage the audience; identify techniques for creating compelling characters; develop efficient story structures; the use of templates and formatting tips; and practice techniques to develop writing skills.
