CHM 145 - PI General Chemistry I


(Perspectives I Course) This course deals with elements in the periodic table, their compounds and reactions. Atomic structure will be reviewed and elemental groups will be discussed. Synthesis, stoichiometry, understanding of reaction mechanisms and physical properties will be investigated as well as the understanding of periodic trends of the elements.  Emphasis will be on problem solving approaches that relate to real world applications.
