SOC 330 - Sociology of Bodies and Emotions

Sociological analysis of the social construction of bodies and emotions in society.  The role of gender, race, sexuality, and other categories of difference and inequality will be emphasized, as will the impact of medicalization, commercialization, and other powerful social processes.
