PTR 522 - Professional Issues II


The second in a series of three, this course will build on the foundation provided in the first course and prepares students for their first time clinical experience.  Topics addressed include: roles of the PT as a researcher, educator, consultant, advocate, and manager. Application of professional documents, legislation, and policy to these roles will be emphasized. Students will be introduced to concepts of teaching and learning as they apply to clinical education, as well as to patients and other public groups.

Prereqs: Successful completion of all prior required PT courses
