BIO 117 - PI Microbes & Society

(Perspectives I Course) PI Course for non-biology majors. An introduction to microbiology. Students will explore contemporary beneficial and harmful aspects of microbes such as bioterrorism, emerging diseases like SARS and AIDS, bioremediation, and food microbiology. Must be taken concurrently with BIO 117L.
