LTED 604 - Literacy Methods Across the Curriculum

This required course is designed to help teachers at all grade levels support reading and writing through the use of effective instructional models needed for students to access expository materials. Emphasis will be on research-based strategies to help students with diverse needs access texts in print-based sources and digital media sources for the purpose of gaining information and applying this information to other parts of the curricula. Open only to Literacy Specialist students. MSED students need Program Director permission to enroll in Summer. Post Masters students required to take in Summer.
