NSG 308 - Foundations of Nutrition This course explores the role of nutrition in promoting health, supporting recovery & preventing disease. Emphasis is placed on patient-centered nutritional care within the scope of foundational nursing practice. Using case studies & practical scenarios, students examine how nutrition affects common health conditions & learn to apply basic nutritional assessment, education & nursing interventions. Course Codes: AC. Prerequisites: BIO*141/141L or BIO*211/211L, plus BIO*318/318L, NSG*208, and NSG*209. All prerequisite courses require a minimum grade of C or higher. Corequisite: NSG*300. Open only to Nursing majors.
