SLH 512 - Culturally Responsive Practices in Speech-Language Pathology


This course serves as the foundation for the development of culturally responsive practices as they apply to speech-language pathologists. Subsequent courses and practica will infuse and extend these topics. Self-awareness, intersectional identity, cultural dimensions, and anti-bias/anti-racist practices are explored in relation to assessment and treatment across populations and the life span. Corequisite: SLH*511.
