SLH 535 - Foundations of Aphasia, Right Hemisphere Brain Damage, and Dementia

Explores the etiology, symptomatology, diagnosis, and evidence-based assessment and treatment of aphasia, right hemisphere brain damage, and dementia. Linguistic and cognitive processing models will be discussed. Opportunities for Service Learning in the Nazareth Neurogenic Communication and Cognition Clinic are integrated into the course.
