TAS 239 - An Introduction to Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning The rise of the machines is not just a parable of science fiction anymore. Algorithms, machine learning, and artificial intelligence are used in everyday applications like music streaming services, product recommendations, and ride sharing. Students will use Python programming for hands-on projects, such as building recommender systems, chatbots, and predictive models. In this course, students will also critically explore the role and ethical challenges of advanced technologies in arts/media, autonomous vehicles, health care, law and justice, love/relationships, and surveillance.
