MUB 301 - Music Business II

Music Business II will focus on several aspects of the legal environment of the music business including various aspects of Contract Law, Copyright Law, Record Deals, Songwriter Deals, Music Publishing, Music Licensing, and the Law as it relates to the Internet as well as numerous other topics. The course will also examine the various legal traps and/or mistakes that plague artists and business people in the industry. Prerequisite: MUB*101 with minimum grade C- or higher.
