INT 211 - Introduction to Translational Science: From Benchside to Bedside and Beyond Translational science (TS) is a multidisciplinary field that can impact health, disease, and the human condition. We will learn about TS via basic and population health sciences, history, ethics, communication, and policy. Students will explore the questions of what does it mean to live with health and illness in our society and what is the role of TS in this experience? Prerequisite: No prerequisites. However, prior to enrolling in this course, we encourage students to have already completed at least one (1) of the following courses (with a final grade of C or better): BIO.Q*103, PBH*101, or SOC.Q*101.
