BIO 210L - Human Anatomy and Physiology Lab I


The first in a sequence of two foundational laboratory courses in the structure and function of the human body. A systems level approach is used to study general histology, and integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, and endocrine systems. The laboratory reinforces the principles learned in lecture with hands-on experiences in human physiology using state-of-the-art digital instrumentation, computer simulations, and animal/human dissection. Course Codes: BR. Required for all Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Clinical Lab Science, and Physical Therapy majors.Prereq: BIO.Q 103/103L or equivalent completed with a grade of C- or higher within the past 5 years. Selected allied health programs/majors have grading requirements that are more stringent than those noted here. Coreq: BIO 210. Offering Cycle: Fall, Spring, and Summer A.
