DAN 350 - Dance as Art - History and Aesthetics This course provides for the study of the origin and evolution of 20th and 21st-century concert dance through a pluralistic lens, including: important dance artists and their work; contemporary forms, trends and styles within the historical context of evolving cultural norms and philosophical trends; and a critical survey of dance literature through film, video and written materials.
