AVCD 252 - Typography I An exploration of typographic form and aesthetics, terminology and history, as a tool for visual problem solving. Students will gain a working knowledge of this essential element to graphic design, using the computer. Projects include the application of basic principles to an increasingly complex set of typographic problems. It should be taken 2nd semester freshman year by VCD majors. Course Codes: AFS. Prereq: ART*101 or permission of the Director of the Visual Communication Design program. Additional course fee required.
