PTR 626 - Cardiopulmonary Management This course addresses physical examination, evaluation and interventions of common cardiovascular and pulmonary conditions including lymphedema. Evaluative skills including heart and lung auscultation, fremitus and mediate percussion are learned. Medical and surgical management is discussed including ECG, clinical lab tests, pulmonary diagnostics, common surgical procedures and exercise testing. Airway clearance techniques and exercise prescription are highlighted interventions. Students present on common cardiovascular and pulmonary medications. Prerequisite: Successful completion of all prior required PT courses. Corequisite: PTR*626L.
