OTR 516 - Advanced Concepts in Interprofessional Collaborative Practice

This hybrid course introduces students to the process of team development and types of teams. It covers the core components of effective inter-professional collaboration such as roles, team dynamics, strategies for collaboration, and systemic support; skills for working within a collaborative model and to engage in the process of effective interactive problem solving, conflict resolution, and ethical decision making. Prerequisite: Requires successful completion of all prior OT courses.
