Students choosing to minor in Italian must take 18 credits of coursework and have two options:
Study Abroad in Pescara, plus selected Italian coursework (OPTION 1)
Requirements (total minimum 18 credits)
- Study Abroad in Pescara (one semester)
- Earn 14-15 credits (note - students do not need to have any knowledge of the Italian language to study abroad)
- Fulfill three different PEQ requirements, with courses taught in English or Italian
- Complete at least one intensive Italian language course at the student’s language level
- Live with Italian University students, and travel to Rome, Venice, Naples, Florence, and other major European cities
- Complete one of the following Nazareth Italian Minor language courses (corequisite labs may be required)
Nazareth College Coursework (OPTION 2)
Requirements (total minimum 18 credits)
- Complete four or five Italian language courses. Notes - students must enroll in corequisite labs, if applicable; courses can be taken in any order after ITL*222 is complete.
- Complete one or two culture courses (taught in English)
