M.S. in Business Organization and Management

The Master of Science degree in Business Organization and Management is ideal for students who have recently graduated with non-business undergraduate degrees and have little or no work experience. The program is designed to bridge your undergraduate major with its application in a business context by providing fundamental business knowledge and competencies. Students will experience a multifunctional view of organizations and learn the many factors impacting the performance of organizations operating within a global economy. In addition, students will study the impact of management and leadership style on individual and group performances.

The M.S. in Business Organization and Management is a 10-course, 10-month full-time cohort program. Cohorts begin in the fall semester.

Entry Requirements  

  1. Completed Online Application
  2. Completion of the professional statement as described on the application
  3. Official transcripts from all colleges attended
    • Applicant must have completed, or will be completing, a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution with a cumulative index of 3.0 and a “B” average in the major field by the start date of the desired term.
    • An applicant who does not meet these grade point average expectations must address them in his/her professional statement; please see the Professional Statement section of the admissions application for further information.
  4. Two letters of recommendation
  5. Interview with the program director

Student Learning Outcomes

  • Demonstrate a holistic understanding of business and the convergence of elements required to create effective organizations.
  • Perform situational analysis and identify the key issues to be addressed by management.
  • Apply the relevant applications  from the various business disciplines and propose solutions to business problems.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the concept of human capital and what it means to lead in a humanistic, ethical and socially responsible manner.
  • Identify and apply the appropriate leadership and management practices that contribute to the creation of a culture and work environment that fosters employee motivation, morale and performance.
