Return to ACADEMIC PROGRAMS A-Z Return to: ACADEMIC PROGRAMS A-Z

The Theatre Arts with Inclusive Early Childhood/Childhood Education major is designed for students preparing to teach at the early childhood and elementary levels. The theatre arts portion of this program consists of 41 credits and production participations to complete the B.S. degree in Theatre Arts. Participation in college theatrical productions and departmental work calls is required.

Students seeking initial certification at the early childhood and childhood levels may double major in Theatre Arts and Inclusive Early Childhood/Childhood Education. Students in this double major are required to have a minimum overall GPA of 2.7 before moving into INCH coursework which typically begins fall semester of the junior year. Students in this program are exempt from the Theatre Internship requirement.
