Mathematics - Major

Our Mathematics major is designed for those students who would like a solid mathematical background for a broad range of career options, including industry and graduate work. Many of our majors have minors or double majors. This program consists of 40 credits of mathematics including Calculus III, Differential Equations, Real Analysis, and Modern Algebra. Students also take two semesters of Physics (Calculus based) and one semester of a programming language.

Students are officially accepted into the Mathematics major after completion of MTH 201, Introduction to Mathematical Structures, with a C grade or better.

All Mathematics majors must maintain a 2.0 GPA, both  in the major and overall.
