Sociology - Major

A Major Program in Sociology

Required
SOC 101, 307, 352, and 444; three courses from the following basic substantive areas: SOC 204, 314, 320, 409, 410; nine credits in sociology electives; MTH 207. The senior experience consists of a senior seminar (SOC 444) which integrates material from sociology and other liberal arts core areas (history, philosophy, religious studies, literature, natural sciences, mathematics, fine arts), and a senior comprehensive (SOC 499).

A Sociology major may be combined with the Inclusive Education (Quadruple Certification Grades 1-9) program.
